Aww – look – all the old gang back and commenting. Hi Mark, hi Tony, hi Frankly, hi Big O. Mark – so glad you did get another blog up and running – was very sad to go to my old namesake and find you’d left. Tony – I just googled the ad, and found this link. which tells you about the music. Glad to be able to help. Frankly – glad to see you’re still on top form. The O – hope you didn’t cancel as it took me another month to post again. I did try and write something about the Oscars a couple of weeks ago, but got so pissed off with silly people on the message boards claiming Crash was a better film than the superb Brokeback that I just gave up, and restricted myself to hounding the stupider people on the Guardian’s blog about the event. Seb – thanks for the comments. It’s daunting thinking about the loss of yourself as a young, vibrant, sexual being when all you can see is the future piled up with nappies, so your comments certainly brought a smile to my face this morning. And Babyfather only gets back from rehab in a week, so maybe I’ll be in touch before then – let me just have a look at your blog and check that I similarly like what I see. Although the list of my ailments in today’s post may just put you off.

I’m glad Brokeback didn’t win… coz ‘The Duke’ would be turning in his grave! Look man, the ‘Unforgiven’ was a western mate, not some ol’ pony about a couple of arse bandits touching each other’s willies!!!

I don’t know what the world is coming to? If you want to be inclusive it’s obvious ain’t it… you make a movie about a bunch of big breasted lezbos in a high security prison!
