I'm afraid that the real explanation is far more prosaic - involving 30th birthday parties, enormous hangovers, and international travel to visit my niece in a place where internet access is not the easy wifi experience of being in bed with laptop. Have a few posts which I will be pre-dating and putting up, so the gap will become smaller. And I will be endeavouring not to become a victim of my own moniker, and try and post a bit more now.
